JOHN O'GROATS TO LANDS END CHARITY CYCLE RIDE FOR CORNWALL HOSPICE CARE
Description: My sister and I are cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for the Cornwall Hospice Care Fund, a charity very close to our hearts. We will travel around 940 miles taking mostly A and B roads to avoid the motorways - so it will take slightly longer than neccessary! I work at Carnon Downs Surgery near Truro and the patients along with my colleagues and friends have already donated just over £2000 so far, our target is to raise £3000. This will pay for one bed for one week at the Hospice, it cost £9.50 per minute of every day to run the charity and we want to raise as much as we can. If you would like to help us reach our target and donate please go to justgiving.com/juliekath. Please help us fund this truly Cornish Charity, we are also looking for any corporate sponsorship to help with the petrol and accommodation costs of our support team also - if you or your business can help in anyway please contact Alison Hunt on 01326 314560.
